Thank you so much Cat! I have been wondering whether or not to go ahead with the Advanced Certificate, I don't know that many people who've done it and wasn't sure if it was commonplace in PR or just an accessory. I have an MA in English Literature and graduated from an Msc in Material Culture studies, both from Edinburgh Uni, in 2010, I have since been overwhelming inspired to work in PR but am finding it difficult to prove my interest in the area and get my foot in the door with hardly any relevant work experience. I am hoping to take the CIPR Advanced starting in Feb and this has given me hope that I might even do the online course to save traveling to London once a month. Hopefully, whilst doing this, I will be able to prove to people that I really am passionate and get some learning under my belt! Thanks!
